Where to Download M-Audio Oxygen Pro Firmware Update

Visit the M-Audio website, hover over Support -> Updates & Drivers.

EASIEST WAY: Search “M-Audio Oxygen Pro 49 Firmware” into Google, and it brings you to the Updates and Drivers page!

Then follow this step-by-step:

• Under Series, select “Keyboard Controllers”.
• Select Oxygen Pro model in “Product”
• Select your OS (Operating System)

IMPORTANT – MAKE SURE TO PRESS “SHOW RESULTS” (blue button).

M-Audio Oxygen Pro – Firmware Update

The process to update the M-Audio Oxygen Pro firmware is really straight forward.

Simply download the firmware from the M-Audio website.

IMPORTANT – Backup Custom Oxygen Pro Presets BEFORE updating the Oxygen Pro firmware!

Make sure to follow the READ ME .PDF instructions in the firmware download. I will not be liable for any damages to your Oxygen Pro 🙂.

Turn off the Oxygen Pro, then hold down SHIFT, BANK <, and BANK > on the Oxygen Pro MIDI Keyboard. You’ll see an “Oxygen Series Updating” mode on the Oxygen Pro’s screen!

Launch the Oxygen Pro Firmware Update.exe, then load the Oxygen Pro.DAT file into it, press “Update”, and wait for completion.

As mentioned my video above, my update froze.. so I closed the “Oxygen Pro Firmware Update” and tried again.. it then worked well for me.

Power off your Oxygen Pro.

Then continue to press and hold Octave – and + buttons while turning the Oxygen Pro back on.

Your Oxygen Pro will now be at its factory reset state with the new firmware, so you can now load in your Custom Oxygen Pro Presets, like my Oxygen Pro FL Studio Template.

Find Which Version the Oxygen Pro is On?

At the moment, I can’t find a way to see what version my Oxygen Pro is running! I’ve tried all settings on the M-Audio Oxygen Pro (Review), and the M-Audio Oxygen Pro Preset Editor.

The only way to tell from my testing is when actually updating the Oxygen Pro through it’s firmware updater. If you’re up to date, it’d say that you’re already on the latest version.
