How to Enable 2FA – FL Studio Image-Line Account (Two Factor Authentication)

Image-Line implemented 2 Factor Authentication for your account with email!
Read more about this in their knowledgebase.
Two-factor authentication allows for better account security!
In addition to your regular password to login, there are different techniques companies use as an additional form of security such as using an Authenticator type of app to login, an email verification code, or sometimes even sent to you by text message!
Let’s walk you through how to set up 2FA in your Image-Line account to make sure your account is as secure as it can be!
The fastest way to do this (if your email is verified), is to click Personal Data, then scroll all the way down, and you’ll see Account Security on the main Personal Data page!:

You May Need to Verify Your Email!
After logging into your Image-Line account, click Personal Data on the left-hand sidebar, which will take you automatically to the E-mail tab.

You will then have to click resend under the E-mail section to VERIFY your email, first! (I tried to enable 2FA, but received this error, telling me I needed to verify my email, so heads-up!):

You will be sent an email with a link that verifies your account!:

If Your Image-Line Account is Verified
Now that your account is verified, or if your account was verified previously, simply click Account Security under the Personal Data heading on the left-sidebar!:

Simply check the Two Factor Authentication box, then click submit.
Additionally, you can logout of all sessions for the best security to your account, and start fresh from all login points with this new 2FA security to your Image-Line account! (Thank-you IL Team!!)

The next time you log into your account, you will now have to enter the verification code that got sent to your email! Awesome, right!

I hope that breaks down how to set up two-factor authentication (2FA) inside your Image-Line account for the ultimate account security! 🙂
P.S. – When is the last time you’ve updated your email password? Your email is the most important to protect and keep secure! Do a spring cleaning check-up on your accounts!
