That’s a good question.. I’m not sure if you can install both the Windows Oxygen Pro Firmware and the Mac Oxygen Pro Firmware together..

You can always try to reach M-Audio support and see their feedback.. I don’t have any guidance here.

I didn’t notice any difference with the Oxygen Pro v2.1.2 Firmware for Windows.. it made my drum pads go into a “sleep mode” and displays colorful lights when it does.  The firmware before did not do that, and I don’t think there’s a way to go back as they don’t make old firmware available..

You don’t have to upgrade the firmware.  I would try and see how you make along without having to update the firmware first.
