Hi Riley!
Just a big question. Ive been around in this industry as an producer for like 5 years. After listening to your podcasts i decided to join your platform. That is my 1st big discision Just to get more sight on the stuff and to get beter in what i do.
There is always a big gap for me and that is to know how to play the piano. Ive had some lessons in my youth and i know some basics. To bring my producers ideas more to life i have made a second big descision and that is to start piano/keyboard lessons with a teacher Who has a big name in this business here in the Netherlands.
Would you alsof recommend this, even if im only working in the box with my mouse as my main instrument?:)

It’s important to know that classical piano & piano for producers is a lot different!
Classical is crucial for perfect timing, reading sheet music, and hours of daily practice.
Beatmakers are all about IMPROVISATION and creativity. We still need to know some piano basics, like counting beats, chords, the notes we’re allowed to play, and most importantly.. how piano relates to MUSIC PRODUCTION.
Definitely start with my Piano Lessons for Producers course.
You can always do your lessons as you mentioned, but if its expensive, my Piano for Producers & Beatmakers course will teach you the core fundamentals you need to know to make catchy melodies as a producer with improvisation.
Remember, there’s no quick learning with piano. You still have to practice 5 minutes each day, but the difference is you know you’ll be practicing in the direction after my piano course there 👍
Thank-you so much for joining the Beatmaker Training Platform.. I hope you enjoy it!
