Channel Rack and Instruments

Got another issue. Sometimes when I replace a sound or VST on my channel rack, the new name for the sound I selected shows up, but when I click the sound box in the channel rack to the left, the old sound or vst still appears. Again, the new name shows, but the last vst or sound still appears when you try to edit the parameters. Hope that make sense.

How do you clear out the old and in with the new?

I’d have to see the issue clearer.

What I’d say is don’t replace the VST, just insert a new one, then delete the old one? (Just make sure to copy/paste over the MIDI notes!)
