I really like Pigments 3 VST by Arturia.. it has a bunch of different types of synthesis built-in, so it’s really usable, and functions quite well. The layout is pretty intuitive, too, so you a lot of things are where you’d expect them to be as your tweaking knobs and trying to achieve a certain sound.
