Chorus:
You are the light to my candle in the middle of the day
(Just listen to God, don’t care what people say)
You are the light to my candle in the middle of the day
(Just seek His face, don’t turn back, don’t fall back)

Verse 1:
Lord, You are my candle,
You make my dark bright, My days ever brighter,
You have restored my Life,
What was blind to our eyes, You have taken back,
I saddled up my camel, and there’s no turning back,
Crying from our hearts, Your Amazing Grace,
Just a touch from You is all I need to set me straight,
Anoint my head with oil, and spark the match,
Refine me in your furnace that I’m ready when you come back

Verse 2:
Don’t let me wax melt,
Oh please keep me strong,
You’re where I want to be, You are my comfort zone,
You love is so inviting, I’m so sick of striving,
It’s nice just to be myself, Just me and You,
In the presence of the Lord is where I want to be,
Right down here on my hands and knees,
Humbled in awe of You, Cause I read your Word,
And everything lines up,
Every Word is more than true

Bridge:
When you’re in deep, and you have no where to turn,
Turn to the Lord cause you know inside it yearns,
He has your life in His palm, He knows your next move,
A choice between life and death, What will you choose?

My Candle in the Middle of the Day
