Making Our First Melody

Making powerful melodies as a beatmaker comes down to a couple things..

• Training your ear for what is actually catchy (which is just someone’s opinion, really..)
• Knowing what notes and chords you’re allowed to play within your chosen Key + Scale..
• Knowing how to make multiple sounds and instruments work together for a cohesive sounding beat..

Many people can get to the point of a “loop”.. but turning a “loop” into a song is a very hard thing to learn..
