In your day to day life, when does it end?

When do the troubles stop?

When will we ever get our child-like innocence again?

In Jesus.

When I was a child, I was speaking as a child, I was led as a child, I was thinking as a child, but when I became a man, I ceased these childish things. (1 Corinthians 13:11).

Anyone who knows the Lord knows that the things we did before we met God, we will eventually have to deal with.  God will continually bring things back into our lives until we’ve dealt with it, or have faced our problem.  Whether that be an old friendship that ended bad, an addiction that we “thought” we’ve got rid of, or a fear to stand up for yourself or to overcome the fear that most of the time really isn’t fear, it’s just something we build up inside our minds that’s not as bad as it actually is .

The reason I put the Scripture above (1 Corinthians 13:11) is because until we finally truly meet Jesus, build that relationship, and literally mature, both spiritually and physically, we will never understand what it is that Jesus wants from us.  We may hear from other people what God wants, and “know” what God wants, but never actually put the 2 and 2 together.  You individually must come to the Lord, not through anyone else!

In order to be an overcomer, we have to ask the One Who “ALREADY” Overcame, how to overcome.  If we start getting haughty thinking that we can do it all on our own and that we don’t even need to ask for God’s help cause, “Oh don’t worry Lord, I got this one”, that is where we as humans are wrong.

Even in the littlest thing God wants us to ask for help.  Most people will think this is a little weird but this is how God works, (especially if you don’t know the Lord, you probably will think.. why is he talking about poop and God?).

But let’s say you can’t poop at night and it’s becoming a big problem in your life.  Where are you going to turn, to doctors?  A doctor that will give you medicine and give you the hope saying, “I’ll see you when your medicine runs out”.  Where is the hope in that?

NO, this is how God works.  You ask for His help.  You say, “God what are you trying to show me through this problem of not being able to poop at night”, and for all you know, maybe God wants to spend that extra time with you ALONE, and where else to spend a better time when you have nothing else to do but wait until you are “finished”.

Through our eyes it seems impossible, and that we will never be able to get past this sickness, addiction or whatever problem it may be.  But when we stop to think from God’s point of view, we have a different understanding, a calm and a peace.  This is where the hope comes from a follower of God.  By letting go of our thoughts, and trusting in Him that Phillipians 1:6 – “Being confident of this very thing, that he which has begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ”.

I used the analogy of God and poop, cause for one, we can all relate haha, and cause all my life I always hear people think the worst before the situation has even happened.  God is working.  He is working behind everything that happens.  Whether that be good or evil.

Here is a very interesting verse about a characteristic of God.

ISAIAH 45:7

I form the light, and create darkness; I make peace, and create evil. I am Jehovah, that doeth all these things.

God says that He creates the evil.  Ever since I’ve been grafted into the vine, becoming a Child of God, I’ve heard many people say, “Oh.. be careful of satan!” — It’s like.. so what, we have to be afraid of satan? — Is not God bigger than satan?  So what is there to even think about his name about?

It’s GOD, and GOD alone that brings these trials into your lives,  whether it be good or bad.  But what ever the situation, it is ALWAYS for HIS GLORY, that HIS NAME GETS THE HONOUR.  We think the situation is too hard, or too big for us, but if we would slow down, and ask God why this problem has come and try and understand what He is trying to teach us through it, we will have a better understanding and be willing to trust Him because of His promises.

I do not bet cause the Bible says to be a good steward of your money, but I would bet all I own to tell you that through your problem that has just arisen, God is behind it.

He wants to bring you close, bring you into His bosom, and call you His child.  Perfect and blameless.  In everything ask, in everything pray, in everything seek His face.

In order to get rid of these problems and put them to an end, you must seek after what is good, and that is Jesus, and only Him alone.

GALATIANS 5:17-25

For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.  But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law.

Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.

And they that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.  If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.

The next time a problem pops up in your life, are you going to try and do it yourself, or ask help from the only One that can help you.  Jesus.
