Reply To: FL Recording Midi in Song Mode

Hey Robert, great to hear from you again!!  (And thanks for using the questions area 😎)

I am not 100% sure for this reason, as it should be simple as you say…

What I think we should start with is RIGHT-CLICKING the RECORD BUTTON at the top of FL Studio.  Here’s what my settings show:

I’d say copy my settings, then try to record in song mode with your MIDI Keyboard into a new pattern again.

You should be able to use your metronome enabled or disabled in both Pattern or Song mode.. (sometimes the metronome is useful in the beginning stages of the beat before you have your kick and clap going).

Try my settings above, and report back!
