Third Party Plugins — Automation Clips in FL Studio,
For what ever reason, you are not able to right click on many third party plugins within FL Studio.
This creates a bit of a hassle when it comes to creating automation clips, and just in general, routing what you’d like.
But.. thankfully, there is a way!
Step by Step Guide to Create Automation Clips with Nexus 2 in FL Studio,
In the top menu go:
Tools -> Last Tweaked -> Create Automation Clip
And BAM, that’s it! That’s how you create automation clips with not only Nexus 2, but any third party plugin within FL Studio!

I am surprised Image-Line haven’t made this any easier. It’s been like this since forever. Studio One make it a one-click affair to create automation for any plug-in, third-party or not. Having said that, FL Studio has automation clips which, besides Reason and FL Studio, no other DAW does AFAIK.
Most DAWs have automation clips.. just some DAWs make it easier to create and manipulate than others! – FL Studio is a great DAW.. just missing a few key workflow improvements, such as creating an automation clip with third-party plugins.
