Don’t Forget About Cymbals in your Music !

The main point to take away from this post is to stay original!

I can’t stress this point enough – music production tools are so easily accessible nowadays, the majority of people just YouTube ‘How to sound like ~ENTER POPULAR PRODUCER~”, and start creating and releasing music out to the public.

Sure production is fun, and for most of us a hobby, but if you’re wanting to really take your craft seriously, you can learn from these popular techniques, but apply them in your own way, with your own taste; that’s the goal behind this video.

For example, I used cymbals to create a type of melody in behind my track! Even further, I applied sidechain compression onto the cymbals to give them another element of movement/pumping, which always adds to a dance track!

Hope this one gets you thinking to be your self, and create what you think sounds dope.
